Toyota Modellista, the in-house tuning arm of Toyota Motor Corp. introduced a turbo-powered Vitz (Yaris in Europe) in Japan.
The new model which is sold through the Toyota Netz dealer network is powered by a 110 kW (150 bhp) version of the 1.5-litre VVTi powertrain. The turbocharged engine was prepared by TRD, Toyota Racing Developments. It is capable of 196 Nm of maximum torque at 4800 rpm. — Yaris production capacity in France.
Suspension settings have been upgraded and new tyres were fitted. Front tyres: 185/55R15, rear tyres: 195/45R16 — Toyota Celica sports coupe.
The conversion kit is available for both the 3- and 5-door versions.
