Intro: BMW had a distinguished career with an Egyptian business man, Eng. H. Aboul Foutouh who also owned a Daewoo assembly plant . However in December, 2002 Al Fotouh was charged with numerous charges and his contract to assemble and distribute BMW products was not renewed for CY 2003.
In the spring of 2003 a new company took over manufacturing and distribution rights and BMW is now stronger than ever in Egypt. |
