Although the plant was not included in the GM-Daewoo deal, it continued assembly of the Lanos and Nubira.
In August, 2006 it was announced that Daewoo Motor Egypt launched assembly of Chinese Chery cars, in addition to Daewoo models.
Daewoo set up a new sales channel, called Speranza to market the Chery models it assembles locally. |
