The 206 RC: a wolf in sheep’s clothing!
On show for the first time ever on its national stand, the most refined 206 yet with its special livery, colour coded body and its wide rear spoiler, reveals a sporty potential that will not escape the attention of motoring enthusiasts. Powered by a 2 l , 16-valve engine with 4 cylinders, developing a power of 130 kW (approximately 180 bhp) at 7 000 rpm and offering a maximum torque of 202 Nm at 4750 rpm, the 206 RC is clearly set apart from the rest of the range by its distinctive exterior style and its sporty interior finish.
The new 307 CC ’ Concept Car
The 307 CC embodies the trademark qualities of the marque. Offering both a genuine coup’ and cabriolet, with four comfortable seats ’ the 307 exhibits the skill of Peugeot designers to stir the emotions.
The modern shape of the 307 lends elegance to this attractive coup’-cabriolet. It measures 4.32 m in length and retains the wheelbase of the 307 saloon to provide a very generous level of accommodation.
The general silhouette of the 307 Coup’-Cabriolet incorporates a very fluid line from the bonnet to the windscreen with its steeply inclined pillars, giving the body a stylish, dynamic appearance.
Like the 206 that preceded it, the 307 is equipped with a foldaway roof that automatically stores itself in the boot. This original design is emphasised by two diagonal lights equipped with diodes, and the third brake light is incorporated in a
detachable rear spoiler.
The interior of this coup’-cabriolet has a surprisingly spacious 4-seater passenger compartment. It retains features from the 307, such as the fascia panel and console which features numerous comfort and safety equipment.
The steering wheel, both height- and reach-adjustable, has a leather finish, while the trim has a two-tone red and beige leather finish.
The instrument panel has chrome-ringed dials, and on-board telematics are connected to a 16:9 screen positioned centrally in the fascia panel.
Equipped with 18’ alloy wheels, the 307 Coup’-Cabriolet is powered by a 16-valve 4 cylinder engine, developing a maximum power of 130 kW (approximately 180 bhp).

Top-of-the-range dynamism
with the 607 Pescarolo ’show car’
This unusual 607, has been designed to reflect the potential sporty image of this executive saloon.
On the outside: to give this top-of-the-range saloon the dynamism created by the performance of its 6 cylinder engine, which has equipped the C60 entered for the Le Mans 24-Hours by the Pescarolo Sport Team for the last two years, stylists wished to remain as close as possible to the original lines of the 607. They increased the surface area of the air inlet on the front skirt, allowing the 400 bhp under the bonnet to breathe more efficiently; the wings were extended by 25 mm, giving the car an even stronger road presence, and the body is 25 mm lower than the classic saloon.
To complete this original sporting appearance, this 607, in its dark plum-coloured
livery, has 19’’ alloy wheels with 245/45R19 tyres, and separate twin exhaust pipes. On the inside, leather predominates in shades matching those of the exterior livery, in aubergine and plum.

The new Peugeot Partner will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. It has been modified in terms of both exterior and interior styling following the end of production of the existing Partner at the end of September 2002.
Innovation with H2O and Sesame
H2O: more than just a symbol’
The H2O concept vehicle is one of the most original designs Peugeot has
commissioned. H2O is the chemical symbol for water, so it is apt that the concept
vehicle is based on a fire-fighting theme. It is original because of its design, which
is both attractive and dynamic and is enhanced by the red and chrome of North
American fire engines.
Also its method of propulsion is original since the vehicle is powered by a fuel cell
(PAC).
H2O therefore follows in the footsteps of the ’Taxi-PAC’ concept car, unveiled at
the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show, which offered the general public a glimpse of the
research undertaken by Peugeot into the use of the fuel cell as an on-board source
of electrical energy.
However, there is a definite technological divide separating the Taxi PAC and H2O.
In principle, they both operate by means of a fuel cell. However, what sets them
apart is the source of the energy they consume. To explain the difference it is

Sesame: Peugeot looks to the future
The Sesame is a concept car with a multi-faceted intelligence, which offers the
driver and passengers practicality and pleasurable driving.
Its single-body architecture combines generous accommodation with compact size
(3.70 m), whilst its two electric sliding side doors (a world first on a vehicle of this
type) allow easy access to all four seats and give the Sesame a degree of practicality
unrivalled in this segment.
The external appearance marks it out as an ’urban 4X4’ and there is a passing
resemblance to its predecessor, the ’Escapade’, which featured special wheels and a
badge on the rear tailgate, unveiled at the 1998 Paris Motor Show.
The Sesame incorporates a large glazed surface area due to its generous windscreen
and athermic glass roof giving the interior a light and airy feel .
The large-diameter 17’ alloy wheels and distinctive front styling is in keeping with
the most recent of the marque’s stylistic innovations. The Sesame is finished in a
luminous yellow metallic livery, similar to Persepolis Yellow, while the interior
incorporates a mixture of leisure-oriented tones and materials, incorporating blue
leather and yellow Alcantara, set off by touches of aluminium.
