The assembly plant has been improved with financial aid from Korea and production surpassed the 200.000th mark for the first time in 1999.
The downfall of Daewoo cast a doubt on the future of the company. By the end of 2003 the financial hurdles were cleared but the fate of the company is still unclear.
4941 Matiz and 29052 Lanos models were assembled in 2003.
In September, 2004 Daewoo was dropped from the name of the company. |
