Pierre Peugeot, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Peugeot SA, died today in Paris.
Mr. Peugeot was born in 1932 and spent his entire career with the Group, serving on the Managing Board from 1972 to 1998 and as Chairman of the Supervisory Board since then. — PSA supervisory board's selection of Christian Streiff.
For thirty years, he played a key role in the development of PSA Peugeot Citro’n, defining and implementing the Group’s strategic vision. — PSA Peugeot-Citroën's European expansion strategy.
The Supervisory Board will meet soon to elect a new Chairman. In the meantime, Vice Chairman Jean Boillot is assuming the chairmanship. — Citroën's innovative vehicle development.
In compliance with Peugeot SA bylaws, the Company is managed by the Managing Board.
