Changhe-Suzuki introduced a revamped Ideal II minicar and the Friend minivan in China.
Ideal II
The Ideal, a Bertone-designed, Suzuki-based minicar was introduced in 2003. Now Bertone has revamped the design with new headlamps. Ideal II is also bigger than its predecessor: with a length of 3,6 meters it is 40 mm longer and also wider. There’s a new 1.4-liter 4-cylinder 16-valve engine to complement the exisiting 1.1-liter powertrain. — Changhe-Suzuki's new Landy minivan.
Friend
Friend is a new minivan from Changhe-Suzuki with independent intellectual property rights. It has three rows of seat while the whole vehicle is only 3.9-meters long. — Changan's Xingqing presentation.
New, improved 1.1-liter (38.5 kW) and 1.3-liter (58 kW) powertrains are being offered. The engines are coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. — BYD's earlier Auto China showcase.
