The donor vehicle has changed, but the basic recipe stayed the same: classic looking cars on a cheap basis.
However with the launch of the 5exi roadster in 2004, a sexy, modern-looking two-seater was added to the range.
By 2006 Marlin was busy shredding its "old men's cars" image by disposing of most of its older models, but keeping the Sportster and 5exi.
