Hebei Zhongxing Automobile Co., Ltd introduced an updated version of the their Toyota Land Cruiser clone, the Fuqi 6500 at the Auto China 2004 exhibition. — BYD at Auto China 2004.
The car was “developed” by a subsidiary, Jiangxi Fuqi which has been making this model for a couple of years as the “King of Chinese off-roaders”. The latest version is powered by a locally produced 2.4-liter Mitsubishi engine capable of 92 kW and 195 Nm. Main dimensions are: wheelbase: 2850 mm, l/w/h: 5120/1850/1875 mm. It will be produced at the Fuqi factory. — Mitsubishi's Chinese production operations.
