Daihatsu Motor Co. Ltd., will exhibit 13 prototypes, 9 production models and 9 limited edition models at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show.

UFE-III
The first UFE (Ultra Fuel Economy) hybrid was exhibited in 2001. The latest version is capable of travelling 72 km with one liter of fuel. It has a 3-seater configuration, with 1 seat at the front and 2 at the rear.
The 440 kg showcar with a Cd value of just 0.168 is powered by a 3-cylinder 660 cc engine coupled with two electromotors. — Toyota's sustainability concepts at Tokyo Show.
Esse
Esse is derived from the English word Essence. This fun-car is powered by a new 660 cc engine. — Volkswagen space up! blue concept.
Others exhibits include the Be-go compact SUV, the Costa SUV, SK Tourer minicar, the Copen ZZ and two Tanto-based prototypes.
