Intro: Once a proud assembler of various Subaru cars, Ta Ching produced only 2000 cars in 2001 so Fuj Heavy Industries sold the factory to Honda for USD 77 million in June, 2002. Production of the CR-V started at the end of 2002.
The Accord was added in 2003 and capacity was boosted to 35,000 units.
In April, 2006 production of the 8th generation Civic was launched. The plant currently employs around 900 people. |
