Intro: Ford Motor Company has a continuous manufacturing history in Venezuela for the past four decades. Established in 1962 the Valencia plant used to churn out such models as the Galaxie and the Fairline but lately such small cars as the Festiva (originally Kia Avella) or the Fiesta are being produced on the 416234 sqm premises. Besides commercial vehicles and the Explorer off-roader is being assembled. Daily capacity is 300 units per day with 1500 associates working in two shifts. |
