Intro: It started with an idea, and a need to fill the idea. The need was a way to
haul the family, gear, and still have an open air vehicle that was capable of
going off road, while being a performance minded vehicle. The result was the
Jeep CJ series stretched to 4-door guise.
TCV started in 1998 when founder Dan Adkins hired former a Lockheed employee
to design and create a 4-door CJ. The idea was a stronger one that factory,
yet with all the funcionality of a family sedan, and SUV in one.
Since the first one, several CJs have been TCV-ized with great success. The
Jeep is a head turner on the road, and an absolute great way to off road with
the family and gear. Keeping with the idea of excellent performance, a V8
option is also available to accompany the 30" stretch CJs go through. |
