Intro: Opel Espana de Autom’viles, S.A. (Zaragoza) was incorporated in 1979 and a new plant was erected in Figuruelas to produce the then new Corsa. Production started in 1982. Twenty years on the plant still produces the same car - the Corsa which is now in its 3rd generation.
Also the Meriva, a Corsa-based mini-MPV is being produced exclusively here in Europe. |
