Intro: Originally designed by Lee Noble in the later 1980s, his original Lotus 23 replica has gone through a number of hands before ending up at Mamba Motorsport in 1999. To date around 120 cars have been sold worldwide. New owner is John Bridge and his main business is specialist automotive engineering. Since taking on the project the front suspension has been redesigned and engine access improved. Along with more subtle updates it means that only recently has the car been commercially available again. Exports are expected to form a large part of the company's business, with cars especially heading into Europe. |
