Intro: Nissan Egypt S.A.E. was established in 1995 by Seoudi Group and began assembly operations in 1997.
In June, 2004 Nissan took direct control over the plant, and refurbished it with a cost of US$ 60 million. Capacity has been increased to 17,000 units per year.
Production of the new pick-up commenced in May, 2005.
In late February, 2006 production of the Sunny commenced at the plant. |
