Intro: The Wuhu Special Works company was set up in 1992 and produced various minivans and pick-up trucks. In 2002 it was renamed to Anhui Tongbao Automobile Co and currently two minivan models are being produced under the Tongbao brand.
In November, 2003 a new cooperation was announced with Changan on the development of a new series of minivans.
In December, 2004 the company was taken over by the Chongqing Zongshen Motorcycle Group. Zongshen is a private motorcycle factory, which is also active in producing minicar engines. |
