Intro: United Straits Fuso Sdn Bhd, later USF-Hicom, a part of the DRB-Hicom group of companies handled the Mitsubishi brand in Malaysia between 1979 and 2005. In the Spring of 2005 a new company was set up with participation from EON, a large Proton dealer and Mitsubishi Motors Japan. It is called Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia and so far it only deals with CBU imports from Japan and CKD import from Thailand. |
