Intro: Mark Grinnall began making a name for himself in the 1980s by offering highly capable Rover V8 conversions on Triumph TR7s. His first factory-built car was the Scorpion, a mid-engined, BMW motorbike-powered three-wheeler designed by Steve Harper. More recently the company has developed the Grinnall Trike, a more conventional three-wheeled motorbike and, most significantly, the Scorpion 4 which was launched at the Birmingham Motor Show in 2000. The company is currently gearing up for production on the Scorpion 4 with the first cars being delivered in 2002. |
