Intro: One of the UK's most well known specialist marques continues today from relatively small 3500sq/ft premises in Sheffield. Having bought the company from the original founders in 1989, the company failed in its bid to become a mainstream manufacturer with the Type Approved G32. Resurrected in 1993, Ginetta returned to its kit car roots with a revamped version of the G27 roadster which, in 2000, was joined by the new G20. Around 60 units left the factory in 2001. The company's one-make race series is a huge success. |
