Intro: The factory was established in 1980 as the Jilin City Mini Vehicle Factory and produced its first minicar a year later. It was absorbed by FAW in 1987 and when FAW became a bigger conglomerate it was renamed to China FAW Group Corp. Jilin Light Duty Vehicle Factory in 1990.
Various minibuses and trucks are being produced.
In 2007 the upgraded facility will be used for local production of the Daihatsu Xenia |
