Intro: In November, 2001 Skoda set up its Indian dealer network and SKD assembly of the Octavia commenced in 2002 at Aurangabad. The facility was upgraded to CKD operations in August, 2003 on the basis of the success in the country.
In Februrary, 2004 a new plant was inaugurated where 10,000 cars should be assembled per annum.
