Intro: Malcolm (Max) Prinzing was a Cum Laude graduate of Lea College, Albert Lea, Minnesota when he bought a 70 acre farm in Winthrop, Minnesota. It was in the machine shed on that farm that he built the first Prinzing auto in 1975. In 1979, Max invented and patented the first engine in America to run on 100% ethanol.
The ethanol engine has not caught on, but Max continues to build neoclassic automobiles.
