Intro: Michael Van Steenburg established this design company in Texas. In addition to sketching concepts he occassionally showcases complete prototypes.
One of them is the Baja, a two-door sport utility vehicle introduced in 1998, the second is the Paradigm limousine supposed to be produced in China. Both of these cars are totally made out of plastics: FRP composite chassis made of pultruded fiberglass/vinyl ester epoxy frame members and a body formed from vacuum thermoformed (non-reinforced)
thermoplastic body panels. |
