Intro: Anhui JAC Automotive was set up in 1999 with assistance from the Lion Corporation and local authorities. Currenty it is employing 3700 people and has a capacity of 120,000 vehicles per annum.
Jianghuai has a technical cooperation with Hyundai and they are building trucks and minibuses under licence.
In September, 2004 a new joint venture was announced between Hyundai and Jianghuai. The joint venture will have an annual production capacity of 90,000 trucks, 10,000 buses and 50,000 engines by 2010
