Intro: Established in 1991, Mekong Auto is a US$36-million joint venture between Saeilo Machinery Japan Inc. (which has a 51 per cent stake), Korea’s Sae Young International Inc. (19 per cent) and local companies VEAM and Sakyno under the Ministry of Industry (30 per cent).
