Intro: As a Lotus specialist in the early Eighties, Banks Service Station quickly found itself concentrating on the Europa, largely because of MD Richard Winter's enthusiasm for the car. By the early Nineties the company had developed so many components for the Europa that it was able to offer everything, right up to a brand new complete car. To date, the company has supplied 340 cars and typically sells around 30 units a year. Both Japan and the States are important markets, where original cars are usually shipped back to the UK for the full 'Banks' treatment. |
