Intro: Originally developed as part of the acclaimed Sylva Autokits model range, the Stylus was sold on to its current owner, Peter Powell in the late 1990s. Since then development has continued at a pace, with improvements to the kit quality and a few tweaks on the suspension side of things. Specialist Sports Cars currently operates from 2500sq/ft workshops with a further 1500sq/ft of covered storage space. A staff of four currently assemble both turnkey Stylus (of which two were produced in 2001) and kits, producing around 20 cars per annum. Rolling chassis packs are proving popular and the company is also happy to construct cars produced by other manufacturers and, in this respect, it is currently extremely busy. |
