Intro: Honda de M’xico was established in 1985 and a new assembly plant was erected a year later. First products included motorcycles and auto parts. A separate plant for automobiles was set up in 1994 which started the production of the Accord in 1995. It has been the sole model produced locally ever since then. The latest generation was introduced in 2002 and in 2003 21625 units rolled off the assembly line. |
