After years of testing and fine-tuning the final version of the CC 8S debuted at the 2002 Geneva Auto Show.
Racecar-bred technology is all around: monocoque chassis weighing just 23 kilos, ultra-lightweight body and a self-developed V8 engine.
Production will be very limited though...
In November, 2002 the Nardo test track in Italy was rented for an unofficial test session. The car did 365 km/h which made Christian von Koenigsegg quite relaxed. More trials coming soon.... |
