Intro: Phil Gregori and his brother entered low volume car manufacturing in 1997 with the launch of the Gregori - a mid-engined Ford Escort based coupe with a fibreglass monocoque body. A convertible then followed before Phil went his own way and formed the Pembleton Motor Company in late 2000. The three-wheeled Super Sport came about after he'd made one for his wife and him to go away on holiday in. When other people asked if he could build them cars the company was formed. Since then over 70 Super Sports have been built, Phil operating from farm workshops with all manufacturing done by outside contractors. A new 4-wheeled model, the Brooklands, was launched in May 2002. |
