Intro: Volkswagen took over the ailing Spanish SEAT company back in 1982. Thus the Germany carmaker gained an important stronghold in the country. It is no wonder that two years later they switched one of the existing plants of SEAT in Pamplona to produce the Polo minicar. It took three years to make 100.000 cars there and in 1992 the 222.222th car rolled off the assembly line
