Intro: Taking a leaf out of the American market, the UK's Fiero Factory began importing Pontiac Fiero body conversions from the States in 1992 before designing its own products. While these remain available, the company moved on to produce a Toyota MR2 Ferrari replica before settling on a range of replicas utilising more conventional kit car manufacturing techniques (bespoke chassis and fibreglass bodywork). Producing around 120 kits per year, along with 12 fully built cars, the company now employs eight staff and operates from 4000 sq/ft premises. |
