Its core product was the Swift for many years. In the early 2000s the product line-up was revitalized with the introduction of the new Ignis in 2003 and a new, sporty and more funky Swift in 2005.
Production of the Wagon R+ has been transferred to Poland in 2005.
A new mini-SUV, called the SX4, co-developed with Fiat joined the product line-up for 2006.
Capacity of the plant is being expanded from 100,000 units to 300,000 units by the end of 2007. |
