Intro: While the original Midas Bronze was conceived way back in 1978 by Harold Dermott (later with McLaren) and designed by the UK specialist car designer supremo, Richard Oakes, the Midas range enters a new phase in its development following a recent transition of ownership in 2001. After a long spell under the wing of GTM Cars, Midas was owned by company MD, Mark Bailey. In January, 2004 Alternative Cars Ltd bought the assets of the company and now Midas is back on track! |
