Intro: In continuous production since 1987, the original Technics 550 is now under the Martin & Walker banner, although still with the original instigator, Barry Martin. Over the years some 150 of the pretty Porsche 550 replicas have been sold and more recently this model has been joined by others, including a 356 replica, 356 Coupe and, most significantly, Porsche 904 replica. While production numbers are low, the 904 now takes the lion's share of business and around 90% of these go abroad, especially to the States. Unlike the other cars, the 904 is only supplied in complete form or less engine and gearbox. |
