Intro: Based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) is Nissan's centre for European passenger car manufacture. It was incorporated in April, 1984 and its plant was ready by July, 1986.
Today the Sunderland plant is the most productive car factory in Europe and in 2005 two new products were introduced: the Micra C+C hardtop cabriolet and the Note mini-MPV. |
