Intro: Although Model Ts were built in the early 1900s, the recent history began in the late 1960s when Ford took over the former Renault assembly plant. Among the first products were a modified Renault 12, called the Corcel but American F-series pick-ups were also assembled. Currently a bunch of small cars, two local special models, the Courier and the EcoSport and a range of medium and heavy-duty trucks are being assembled.
