Intro: Chamonix started to produce cars in 1987, when first molds and tooling were made to build the 550 Spyder, based on the work developed by Milton Masteguin (one of the creators of Puma Automobiles) and Charles "Chuck " Beck, from Beck Development (who developed a 550 Spyder replica at USA).
Other Porsche replicas were added later on.
The cars are now being exported to USA and Japan (under Beck's name), Europe, Medium East and other countries (under Chamonix name). Along with the automobiles, Chamonix also works on engineering projects for the auto industry such as clay modelling. |
