Intro: Mitsubishi Corp brought the first Isuzu diesel truck to Thailand in 1957 and Isuzu Motor (Thailand) was established in April, 1996. Isuzu uses the facilities of its parent company, General Motors. Starting from 2003, General Motors (Thailand) will produce 50,000 units of Isuzu-designed pickup trucks per year at its Rayong plant with the intention to use the GM Thailand plant for its major export strategy. |
