Intro: Casalini was one of the pioneers of the current microcar movement.
The company was established in 1939 but only built scooters and mopeds until 1971 when the first Sulky appeared.
It was basically a closed moped on three-wheels. The Sulky was continuously improved as competitors started to appear.
Lately it had four wheels, some basic comfort equipment.
In 2000 the new Ydea with a 500 cc Mitsubishi engine replaced the ageing Sulky.
A new mini pickup truck, called sulkycar joined the range in December, 2004. |
