Intro: Launched in 1995, Ascari Cars began with production of the exotic mid-engined Ecosse, although since revealing its new KZ1 at the Birmingham Motor Show in 2000 it has been gearing up for a production launch in October of this year. Originally designed by Lee Noble, of Ultima fame and, more recently, the Noble M12, the Ecosse is no longer available. Production of the new KZ1 is expected to be extremely limited - with no more than around fifty of the £168,000GBP mid-engined GTs being manufactured each year. |
