Intro: Fabricaci’n de Autom’viles, Sociedad An’nima (FASA) was set up during the 1950s as part of the nation's industrialization programme. With the help of the French Renault company an assembly plant was constructed in Valladolid which first produced the 4CV, then the Dauphine, the 8, the 18 and various Alpine sportscars.
In 1965 FASA and Renault Espana, S.A which marketed the cars were grouped together as FASA-Renault.
In 2004 production of the Modus mini-MPV commenced in Valladolid. |
