South East (Fujian) Motor Corporation Ltd, a Fuzhou-based vehicle manufacturer in the eastern province Fujian, today announced its production of the 100,000th Dongnan vehicle, Dongnan Delica, a milestone since production started in July 1996.
“Our company has passed a significant testimonial in a competitive market,” commented Ling Yuzhang, chairman of South East (Fujian) Motor. “In the past six years, we built up a solid foundation for further development based on our core competitiveness and strong market position. Our next year’s goal in sales and production is at least 80,000 units.” — Mercedes-Benz C-Class production milestone.
With land area of 470,000 square meters, including floor space of 100,000 square meters, South East (Fujian) Motor produces more than 50 models of medium vans in two series: Dongnan Delica and Dongnan Freeca. It has an annual production capacity of 60,000 units. — VW Group's expansion in China.
The accumulated sales of South East (Fujian) Motor from July 1996 to November 2002 has reached 100,000 units, ranking them second among medium van makers and the fourteenth among 110 auto makers in China.
