Audi AG introduced two limited edition models of its TT sportscar recently. Here are the official press releases.
New S line sports package for the Audi TT
The new “S line” sports package from quattro GmbH for the Audi TT Coup’ and TT Roadster give the compact sports car an even more emotional and dynamic presence.
The S line sports suspension lowered by 20 mm ensures even greater agility and an extremely precise response to every steering movement with firmer shock absorbers, modified elastokinematics and an adapted steering ratio. — Audi A4 Coupé Cabrio Concept.
Cast aluminium 8×18” wheels of 9-spoke design with 225/40 R 18 tyres create a sturdy appearance. Xenon headlights with titanium-coloured trims and the S line emblem on the rear side panels and the door sill trims are additional differentiating features of the Audi TT S line. In addition to the standard colours, pearl effect paint finishes Misano Red and Avus Silver are available as options.
The theme of sporting exclusivity is continued in the interior. Here sports seats in a leather/cloth combination (special “Speed” cloth or optional “Silver” leather) ensure optimal lateral support. The leather sports steering wheel of 3-spoke design and the gear-lever knob are trimmed with perforated leather, the upper door trim panels and the handbrake handle with smooth leather. An aluminium gear knob can be ordered as an additional sporting accent for the TT version with manual gearbox.
The S line sports package is available for all versions of the Audi TT (Coup’ and Roadster) from EUR 2,400. — BMW 6-Series Cabriolet.
Audi TT Coup’ DTM Edition
The Audi TT Coupe 1.8T quattro DTM Edition will be available in from early 2003.
This attractive limited edition model was developed to hail Audi TT-R racer Laurent Aiello from the Abt-Sportsline team, who won the driver’s championship at the 2002 DTM (German Touring Car Series). — BMW M5 performance features.
The 165 kW (225 bhp) Coup’ was developed with the help of Abt-Sportsline and it is equipped with the S-line sports suspension, xenon headlights and it is available in different colors, like the Imolayellow which resembles the tone of the DTM Audi TT-R.
Various other Abt-Sportsline components have also been added: like a rear spoiler, front grille, 8,5Jx18″ alloy wheels.
Prices start at 41850 Euros.
