’koda Auto has issued the following press release:
’koda Auto presents the first official photographs of its new ’koda Octavia RS, offered as a saloon and an estate car.
The Octavia RS features extraordinary dynamics provided by a 2.0 TFSI turbo direct injection engine developing 147 kW (200 PS) and a torque of 280 N.m at 1800 to 5000 rpm. ’koda’s fastest and most powerful production car shows 0-100 kph acceleration time of just 7.3 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 240 kph (the estate version achieves 0-100 kph acceleration time of 7.5 s and a maximum speed of 238 kph). — Bologna Motor Show.
The RS models are exclusively offered in a new ’Race Blue’ metallic paint, which will later be augmented with another exclusive ’Sprint Yellow’ paint. There are more colours: ’Corrida Red’, ’Diamond Silver’ and ’Black Magic’. — Fiat 500 Car of the Year 2008.
