Intro: Established in 1968, Carat-Duchatelet first made equipment for "business automobile" prototypes, later they produced their own exclusive versions of various Mercedes-Benz models.
In 1983 the first armored conversion was developed for the Mercees-Benz W126 series. Two years later stretched limousines were also started being made.
Besides Mercedes, Carat Duchatelet presented a stretched Rolls-Royce Silver Spur in 1998 and an armoured Land Rover Discovery the same year.
But Mercedes is still the speciality of the company. |
