Intro: Harbin Light Duty Truck Factory belonged to the Spaceflight Industry Ministry before it was absorbed into the FAW Group in 1993. It took over production of the "Jie Fang" light truck and by the end of 1996 production reached 50000 trucks per year.
During the late 1990s the new CA1041 and CA1021 series was developed based on Isuzu and Nissan technology but has a touch of Toyota LandCruiser as well.
Number of staff exceeds 7000, the factory lies on a 86000 sqm land.
