Intro: Opened in 1968 the Toluca plant is now the sole producer of the retro PT Cruiser. As part of the DaimlerChrysler restructuring operation the transmission plant has recently been closed. About 80000 units could be produced per annum. Production of the PT Cruiser cabriolet will start in Summer, 2004. |
