Under the slogan “classic and future” Shanghai Auto introduced a series of Roewe 750 models and a new concept car, called the W2.
Among the Roewe 750 variants shown, the brightest spot belonged to the hybrid variant, which is a development of SAIC — China Brilliance's FRV debut.

Following the succesful market launch of the Roewe 750, a second model will join the lineup at the end of this year. — Buick Riviera world premiere.
W2 is a result of a joint effort by former MG and Rover designers and SAIC’s own team. It indicates how Roewe’s new, smaller, middle-class car will look like when it joins the lineup at the end of this year. — 2005 Geneva International Motor Show.
Careful design ensures that W2 meets latest European NCAP safety rules, including pedestrian protection. The car rides on 19″ alloy wheels. Inside there’s an interactive LED touch screen.
